The Union and Brightspeed wrapped up this evening after several sessions of tough negotiations.  The Union continued to counter company proposals that would benefit our local for years to come, including a quality wage package, increase in pension, an increase in 401K, and attempting to bring back several items that have been lost in previous negotiations.  The company stood strong in their position against those proposals.  The company ended the day by passing a Settlement Package.  The Bargaining Committee has the package under review.
