City of Independence Bargaining Report #9

The members of Local 6360 voted yesterday, October 4, 2010, to ratify a new 3 year Work Agreement.

The new agreement calls for a 3.5% wage increase over 3 years and significant language changes to vacations, shift bidding, longevity, and union representation.

We also settled an out of position pay grievance.

I want to thank the Committee for their hard work during this difficult round of negotiations.
