CenturyLink of Missouri Bargaining Report 11

The CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company in multiple meetings on March 11, 2011.  The Union and Company reached Tentative Agreements on Article 26 Overtime and Sunday Time – All Departments and a job title change for the Customer Care Associates.

The Company presented a Settlement Package to the Union late in the evening regarding many of the Union and Company proposals that had not been agreed upon. While there was movement by the Company on several of the Union proposals, the package failed to address all of the Union’s concerns.  The two sides remain far apart on Article 17 – Group Health Plans, Article 25 Job Vacancy/Transfer – All Departments and Article 18 – Pension Plans and Wages. 

Negotiations ended without the Union and Company being able to reach a tentative agreement on a new contract.  The Company stated that the contract would remain fully in effect on a day to day basis.  No new dates have yet been agreed on to resume negotiations.  This website will be updated as information becomes available.
