CenturyLink of Missouri Bargaining Report #10

The CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company in the morning and afternoon on March 8, 2011. The Union presented amended proposals on the telephone concession, Article 29 – Evening Meal Expense, and on Article 9 – Other Excused Absence. The Union Committee presented a counter proposal to the Company proposal on Article 24 – Seniority.

The CWA Committee requested extensive documentation on the Company’s Health Care Plan. We also requested further information on the Pension Plan including the lump sum option. Discussions at the bargaining table included part time workers, scheduling of Retail Sales Asssociates and IP-TV.

The Company provided documentation on E-Learn training and on Certification Courses. The CWA Committee worked through the evening studying the documentation. The two committees will meet again on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
