CenturyLink Northwest Bargaining Report #2
The Joint Committees met June 2, to continue negotiations to try to reach settlement on a new agreement. The Company passed a package for settlement that fell short of the expectations of the Union committee. After review of the package the Union rejected the settlement offer on Tuesday, June 7. Open discussions took place concerning outstanding issues and the desire by both sides to reach a fair agreement. We remain committed to negotiating the best Agreement possible for our members. Some of the outstanding items are Healthcare, Wages, Job bidding procedures, and a Uniform policy.
