CenturyLink (Local 6372) Bargaining Report #3

 

The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink) met Monday, January 26, 2015, had a lengthy discussion regarding Company and Union proposals.  The Union continued to REJECT CP 13, Overtime.  The Company presented an amended proposal to CP 14, Call-Out, amended proposal to CP 17, Grievance/Arbitration; Company Counter to UP 7, Pallbearer and Company Counter to UP 11, Vacations. The Union presented Union Counter Proposal to CP 12, Hours of Work; Counter Proposal to the Company Proposal 14, Call-Out and Union Counter to CP 19, Safety Footwear/Eyewear. The Union and Company met again on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.  The Union presented Union Counter Proposal to Company Proposal 5, Bridge of Service; Union Counter to CP 16, Vacation; Union Counter to Company Counter to UP 7, Pallbearer; and the Union presented the following new proposals; UP 27, Savings Plan; UP 28, Pension (lump sum); UP 29, Pension (30 and out) and UP 30 Wage Increase. The Company presented amended Company Proposal 10, Absence Time; Company Counter to Union Counter to CP 12, Hours of Work and Company Counter to Union Counter to Company Proposal 19, Safety Footwear/Eyewear The Company withdrew CP 9, Apprenticeship. No agreements reached. We are scheduled to meet with the Company on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Your Bargaining Committee

The Union and Company met again on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.  The Union presented Union Counter Proposal to Company Proposal 5, Bridge of Service; Union Counter to CP 16, Vacation; Union Counter to Company Counter to UP 7, Pallbearer; and the Union presented the following new proposals; UP 27, Savings Plan; UP 28, Pension (lump sum); UP 29, Pension (30 and out) and UP 30 Wage Increase.

The Company presented amended Company Proposal 10, Absence Time; Company Counter to Union Counter to CP 12, Hours of Work and Company Counter to Union Counter to Company Proposal 19, Safety Footwear/Eyewear

The Company withdrew CP 9, Apprenticeship.

No agreements reached.
