CenturyLink Local 6174 Bargaining Report #5

The joint committees met on Thursday in Killeen to resume negotiations with the Company. We spent most of the day reviewing the proposals in the Company's Last Best, Final offer that was passed on September 30, 2010 and discussing it in detail.

As a reminder, we are working without a contract. The members of Local 6174 unanimously voted to authorize strike action in preparation for bargaining last year. We need every member to contact your job steward TODAY for picket duty information and remove all of your personal belongings from Company premises.

We are continuing to negotiate for our member's best interest. At this time you will continue to work. We are preparing for potential strike action.
