CenturyLink Kansas/Missouri Bargaining Report #3
The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink) met Monday, January 30, 2012, all day and into the night.
The Union and Company agreed to the following Proposals; Recognition and Incentive and Lead Differential.
We are reviewing counter proposals regarding; No Strike, Short Term Disability and Work Rules and Policies.
The Union has the following Proposals on the table; Employee Safety, Overtime Payments, Grievance Procedure, Pensions, Card Check and Evolving Technologies.
The Company gave the Union a Wage Proposal and then the Union gave the Company a Counter Wage Proposal late this evening.
The Company and Union are “far apart” on the following Company proposals; Use of Contractors, Job Bidding, Bridging of Service, Job Classifications, and Combining Job Titles!!!
We are scheduled to meet again tomorrow morning, Tuesday, January 31, 2012. It is our intention to get a tentative agreement by the contract expiration of midnight.
