BARGAINING REPORT #7 CENTURYLINK OF MISSOURI Local 6300, 6311, 6312 & 6373

The Union and Company met all day and into the night Saturday, March 14, 2020.

We continued to discuss the following retrogressive items in an effort to reach an agreement prior to expiration; contracting by exchange, eliminate Sunday schedule time and one half (1.5) pay, Pension freeze, VEBA, eliminate daily overtime, mandatory 4 day 10 hour work week, use five (5) vacation/personal days for workers compensation leave and eliminate two (2) times pay after eight (8) hours on a holiday. At this late hour the parties have jointly recognized that we will not reach a tentative agreement prior to expiration. Therefore, the Union and Company have mutually agreed to extend the terms and conditions of the current Labor Agreement through 5 p.m. on March 27, 2020.

At this time Bargaining Unit employees should continue to report to work as scheduled. Additional bargaining reports will be posted once the parties reconvene negotiations.
