BARGAINING REPORT #6 CENTURYLINK OF MISSOURI Local 6300, 6311, 6312 & 6373

The Union and Company met Thursday, March 12, 2020, and today March 13, 2020. The Union and Company continued to discuss the various proposals and ways to come to an agreement on March 14, 2020. The Company presented the Union with a package proposal that still included the following retrogressive items; contracting by exchange, eliminate Sunday schedule time and one half (1.5) pay, Pension freeze, VEBA, eliminate daily overtime, mandatory 4 day 10 hour work week, use five (5) vacation/personal days for workers compensation leave, and eliminate two (2) times pay after eight (8) hours on a holiday.

Please be advised that the members made a strong showing of support for the Bargaining Committee with a near unanimous YES vote to authorize the President of the Union to call a strike if it should become necessary.

We are scheduled to meet with the Company tomorrow, March 14, 2020. Please continue to wear your RED wrist band and CWA Button!!! The Company does notice when you all unite and take action collectively!!!

The contract expires on March 14, 2020.
