Windstream Bargaining Report #12

On Friday February 25th, the committees met in Dallas, Texas to resume bargaining. Extensive discussions were held on the Company’s Group Health proposal. This proposal includes significant employee premium increases and a spousal surcharge provision. The committees also discussed a Company proposal regarding Article 14, Net Credited Service. The Company passed a summary of their proposed Group Health plan.

The Committees also discussed a Union proposal, Jobs of the Future. The Company then passed a list of tentative areas of agreement on various proposals for the Union to review. The Union committee will meet late tonight to review all proposals.

The Committees will reconvene Saturday February 26th at 9:00 a.m. Many vital issues remain unsolved.
