Yellow Pages Bargaining Report #2

Your elected bargaining committee, CWA Representative AJ Villegas and Area Director Mark Franken met with the Company on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, in St. Louis, MO.  After spending the morning discussing a new compensation plan and CIPP, the Company presented a proposal to the Union.  The main points of the proposal included the following:
• New Compensation Plan, as presented in May 2012 with increased rates and decreased gates, applied retroactively
• New Commission Plan for Senior Account Reps with increased rates, applied retroactively
• Retroactive pay applied to pay down CIPP balances, if any
• Any excess retroactive pay will be paid out to the Rep in January 2013
• After retroactive pay is applied to CIPP balances in January 2013, Company to forgive all remaining CIPP balances
• Company to forgive chargeback balances in January 2013
• Pause Debit Proration from October 1, 2012 through date retroactive payments are made in January 2013
• Elimination of the CIPP effective October 1, 2012
We are currently waiting on more information from the Company before any decisions are made.
