Verizon Bargaining Report #26
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Your Bargaining Committee met with the company today. We made some progress at the bargaining table, with another proposal reaching tentative agreement.
We expect the pace of negotiations to pick up when we meet with the company face-to-face next week. We remain optimistic about making additional progress toward reaching a fair and just contract. At the same time, we recognize that significant work remains, as we are still far apart on several of our most important proposals.
There are NINE DAYS until our contract expires. Participation in All mobilization is an investment in our success. Mobilization that has been put out is a protected Union activity. This includes taking a picture of yourself holding a sign in support of your bargaining committee and email it to [email protected], sending a letter to your supervisor demanding a fair and just contract, changing your Slack/Email profile pictures. Example phrases for the pictures have been emailed to your Unit Directors along with the form letter to be sent to your supervisor.
Do not use your company phone, computer or company email for any union activities.
