Unique QR Code for AT&T SW Ratification

We have been advised that a CWA Member shared their unique QR code via social media last evening.

Apparently, every time someone scanned this particular QR code from social media, it was changing that particular vote.

After investigating the incident, it appears there was no ill intent by the member as they were simply reminding people that voting started at 7pm last evening.

We have spoken to the Company handling our election and arranged for the following:

  1. The QR code that was shared online has been deactivated and the vote does not count.
  2. Once a vote has been cast with your own personal unique QR code, the code is automatically deactivated and the vote cannot be changed.

Remember, you have to use your own personal QR code that has been mailed to your home address to vote. Please protect and do not share your QR code as it is registered and unique to you.

Additionally, if you haven’t voted yet, you may receive text or emails reminding you to vote and those links are also unique to you with the same unique code.

If you have not received anything regarding the ratification vote by this Friday, April 25, please contact your Local.
