The Communications Workers of America and the St. Louis Public Radio bargaining committee met with representatives from the University of Missouri system on Wednesday. The Union asked several clarifying questions regarding the university’s proposals and explained various concerns the unit has with those proposals. The meeting resulted in friendly and substantive discussion between the two parties. CWA and the STLPR bargaining unit will now formulate counter proposals for the next meeting, which will be scheduled later.
