Fidium (Consolidated) Bargaining Update #5

The Union met in two sessions today. It was one of the busiest days yet in this cycle of bargaining. After trading counter proposals, the Union and Company were able to Tentatively Agree on several items today.

• Memorandum of Agreement for Customer Service Staffing was extended. TA’d
• Memorandum of Agreement for Micro Business Work Differential (formerly known as the Small Business) was modified and extended. The modifications included updating the name change to fall in line with the work group and outlining the process for how jobs will be filled when they become available. TA’d
• Article 17- Authorized Absences - improvements added for excused time off. TA’d 
• Article 4- Grievance and Procedure- added step in the grievance process to help resolve employees grievances. TA’d
• Article 16- Holidays- added language to help define holidays for 4 x 10 schedules to benefit
  employees. TA’d 

There has been a lot of progress made in week two. Another update will follow tomorrow's sessions.
