DirecTV Bargaining Report #1

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

For the last few weeks, your bargaining committee reviewed your surveys and proposals and
crafted bargaining proposals to address what you have told us is important to you in this round
of negotiations.

Today the Union met with the Company to kick off negotiations and to begin passing proposals
to the Company and receiving theirs. We are fully committed to bringing a fair and just contract
to the membership.

We will meet with the Company again tomorrow to pass on more proposals and work as a
committee to achieve a collective bargaining agreement for our members in regards to working
conditions, hours of work and pay as well as a work life balance.

Stay tuned for upcoming mobilization activities, and as always thank you for your support of this
