The Bargaining Team met with the Company today. We received a counter proposal on Healthcare and Benefits in which we did see some positive movement on the part of the Company. The Union spent this afternoon going through their counter and drafting questions to be asked during tomorrow’s session.

The Bargaining Team spent the entire day working within their own committee on our benefits counter proposal...Though we can’t disclose specific details at this time, we really do believe there is some real cost savings opportunities for the majority of our members.

The Bargaining Committee met with the Company this afternoon and the meeting began with the Company completely rejecting our proposals on job security, expansion of work to include a guaranteed Fiber & Broadband work, and creation of new jobs.

The Bargaining Committee meet with the Company on Saturday afternoon and passed the following proposals...The Union Chair responded, “We have a long ways to go if you think we are going to reach a full tentative agreement by expiration!”, and then immediately adjourned the meeting.
