Grand River Mutual Networks Bargaining Report #3

The Union and Company continued negotiating towards a successor agreement. The Union was able to reach an agreement with the Company on a premium for Combination Technicians performing Advanced Technical Work functions. The Union submitted information requests related to the Company Proposal to offer a Cost of Living Differential for members that are working in Des Moines. The Union is very concerned that a differential given to a small group of members working in the new territory is a step in the wrong direction and will cause division between the members. Our next bargaining session is scheduled for March 21, 2019.
