Grand River Mutual Networks Bargaining Report #1
The Union and Company opened negotiations towards a successor agreement. The Union presented various proposals related to wages, vacation, bereavement, travel, holidays, personal leave and restructuring the progression tables. The Union’s main priority is gaining a substantial wage increase for all members. The Company presented various proposals to address the difference in cost of living between the current territory and the new expansion into Iowa. The Company did not pass any retrogressive proposals but we have many questions and concerns about having two standards between our members. Our next bargaining session is scheduled for March 8, 2019.
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
