Consolidated Communications Bargaining Report #2

Negotiations continued today in Conroe, Texas with Consolidated Communications of Texas.  These two days have been very productive, there was lengthy discussion on several of the issues the Union and the Company had introduced the first day.  The Committee feels that we have made progress in the last two days of bargaining as we move forward towards the economic issues.  The meeting was recessed at 5:00pm and the Committee will meet with the Company again next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 28 & 29, 2010.  Contract expires October 15, 2010 at 11:59 pm.

The Committee would ask the membership to wear RED on Thursdays to show our Unity and support of the Bargaining team and the UNION.
