AT&T Advertising Solutions Bargaining Report #11

The Union and the Company met on Saturday, November 6th and Sunday, November 7th.  The parties had long discussions on what has happened in the last year.  The worst economy in fifty years, high unemployment and other local local contracts that have been voted down twice.  The Company is not interested in increasing the cost of the package.  The Company has not been able to shift health care costs onto the workers.  The Company refuses to move on wages, they eliminated the $500 ratification bonus, they cut the pensions increases for non-sales, they removed termination pay for performance, they eliminated the TSO. The Company has reduced wages to offset healthcare cost, and now Christmas week is in jeopardy.  The Company has made a second proposal to conclude this round of Bargaining.
