Consolidated Communications Contract Ratification

Explanation meetings on the Tentative Agreement with Consolidated Communications were held in Conroe on Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21, 2010 with the opportunity for the membership to vote.

After the votes were counted Thursday evening, October 21, 2010, the TA was ratified.

This is a three year agreement with a wage increase totaling 8% over the life of the contract. Health care premium rates are now a fixed flat rate versus 25% of an unknown annual premium.

The Bargaining Committee would like to thank the membership for their support during negotiations and for their vote to ratify this tentative agreement.
