Windstream Bargaining Report #2

On Tuesday, January 11, 2011, the full bargaining committees met for the first time. The Company passed fourteen retrogressive proposals including changes to Illness Treatment, Pensions, Contract Labor, Group Medical, Holidays, Job Bidding, and Overtime.

These proposals were discussed at length on December 14th, 2010. The Union passed proposals including: Differentials, Improved work schedules, Holidays, Contract Labor, Wages, and Job Bidding.

On Tuesday, January 11, 2011, the Union passed eight proposals regarding renewal of MOAs.

The full committee will meet again on Wednesday, January 12, 2011.
