Mobility Bargaining Report #19
Your CWA Bargaining Committee met today with the Company. The Company presented a comprehensive package proposal to the Union. The Union Committee will work late night studying the package. The package includes:
• The Same Disability Plan as previously presented by the Company – cutting the 52 weeks of disability benefits to 26 weeks
• Elimination of paid sick days in Article 21 - Absences
• Vacation Accrual instead of Earned Vacation
• No pensions for employees hired after 1-1-2013
• Elimination of The Day After Thanksgiving as a Paid Holiday, and replaced with a Floating Holiday
We are one week away from the expiration of the current Labor Agreement with Mobility. On many issues the two sides remain far apart. Keep up your Mobilization efforts; we will continue to provide bargaining updates on this website.
