Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #36
Today, the Sub Committee on workplace monitoring met to work on the problems between the company and employees in the call center. There was a considerable amount of dialog, and further meetings will take place.
In the afternoon, both parties agreed that a tentative agreement is not likely to be reached by Saturday, August 25th. The Committees agreed to extend the contract in full to September 29th. Your Bargaining Committee still fully expects to reach a fair and just contract. Remember to wear Red on Thursday’s and Black on Friday’s
