YP Holdings Bargaining Report #23
The Union was notified earlier today by the Company that "subject to the needs of the business, the company will allow employees to take days off unpaid during the holiday week if they choose to and if have no other paid or unpaid time off. No one will be forced to take any days unpaid."
The Union tried to get the Company to give the paid days off during the holiday week while we continued to negotiate a new contract, however, the Company rejected our proposal.
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
