District 6 announces roll-out of the D-6 Retiree Outreach Program.

Our Vice President of District 6 Claude Cummings is proud to announce the roll-out of the CWA District 6 Retiree Outreach Program. The program is designed to allow us to keep in touch with our Retirees and keep them in touch with what is going on at the Company’s where we represent members and what impact any changes in the collective bargaining agreements may have on them. Sylvia J. Ramos, Assistant to the Vice President, will be responsible for coordination of the program. Sylvia and her team will bring an enthusiastic service to thousands of CWA Retirees who have fallen out of touch with our Union. We will also be asking our Retirees to assist in the fight to maintain affordable Health Care and a retirement with dignity for all CWA Retirees past present or future. Highlights of the program include a Benefit Representative to assist Retirees with issues that may arise as well as provide them with answers to questions on the different benefit plans in District 6. A monthly E-newsletter dealing with Retiree Issues will also be available for Retirees to keep abreast on Retiree issues.
