Your CWA Bargaining Committee met with Tyco on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, to begin negotiations for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. After opening remarks, both parties pass proposals and counterproposals. Some of the articles discussed were: Article 1 – Mutual Recognition of Rights Article 4 – Grievance Procedure Article 5 – Arbitration Article 6 – Hours of Work Article 14 – Travel Article 19 – Contract Work Extensive discussions continued all evening, the session adjourned and the parties plan on returning to the bargaining table Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 9:00 A.M.
