Tyco Bargaining Report #2

 

Your CWA Bargaining Committee continued to meet with Tyco IS today in an attempt to reach a fair and equitable agreement.  Both parties passed proposals and counter proposals in an effort to reach a tentative agreement.  Some of the topics and articles discusses by both parties included:   •Article 2 – Anti-Discrimination •Article 4 – Grievance Procedure •Article 5 – Arbitration •Article 17 – Bulletin Board •Article 21 – Training •Article 22 – Safety •Article 23 – Miscellaneous •Article 24 – Labor Management Committee •GPS (Global Positioning Satellites)   Extensive and lengthy discussions continued all day and into the evening as well.  The parties have agreed to meet as soon as possible.  We will provide you updated information as it becomes available.
