Windstream Healthcare Bargaining Report #1

Sylvia J. Ramos, Assistant to the VP of D6, David VanOs, D6 Lawyer, Tony Shaffer, CWA Representative, Ken Conner, President of Local 6171, and Chad Shipp, Windstream Bargaining Committee Member met with the Company and their attorney on Thursday, December 10, 2015 to bargain over the Healthcare changes the Company recently announced. Your bargaining committee passed proposals to the Company trying to achieve a better plan than what is going into effect on January 1, 2016. The Company rejected each of the Union’s proposals. We are now evaluating and devising a strategy to stop this immoral Healthcare coverage by the Company. Be ready to mobilize and tell the Company this is not acceptable.
