 Today both Verizon and your Union committees met in full session. We had discussions over the proposed healthcare and the cost of it along with questions over the pension. Your bargaining committee passed numerous  proposals to Verizon.

Today, we began the 2016 negotiations with Verizon. Tony Shaffer, CWA Staff Representative, gave our opening statement and then yielded to Verizon to give theirs. The Company passed a comprehensive proposal to which your committee will be reviewing and assessing this evening.
