October 1, 2019 (1:23 AM) The parties resumed contract negotiations Monday morning and continued working beyond the midnight expiration of the 2016 Agreement.  This is to advise that, despite the tremendous efforts of your CWA Bargaining Committee, a tentative agreement on a successor contract has not been reached.  As such, we are working without a contract.  All employees should report to work as normal until otherwise notified.

The Union and Century Link of Texas met this weekend both Saturday, September 28th, and Sunday, September 29th, as we continued our intense discussions with the Company on their proposals as well as the proposals the Union presented. We continued to ask for additional information from the Company to better understand their proposals.
