Bargaining Report 1

CWA/CenturyLink/Lumen   

The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink/Lumen) kicked off bargaining on February 28, 2022.  Each party made opening remarks. The Union stressed the need for a wage increase; protect jobs, pension, and healthcare.  The Company stressed the need to reduce cost and is seeking flexibility to manage the business.  The Company presented 23 proposals and the Union presented 18 proposals.

No agreements were reached.  The Union bargaining committee will meet to review the Company proposals.

We are scheduled to meet later this afternoon, Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
