Central Telephone Company of Texas – Century Link Bargaining Report #7

The Union and Century Link of Texas met Thursday, September 26, 2019. We continued our intense discussions on the Company’s retrogression proposals in great length. The Company was reminded again that we were not here to give up contractual language that protects our members.

Counter proposals were presented between each Committee as we worked hard to try to reach a tentative agreement before the contract expires Monday, September 30, 2019.  Your Union Bargaining Committee will continue to stand strong to protect our Collective Bargaining Agreement, job security and a substantial wage increase.

The Committees recessed at after a long day at the table and will reconvene on Friday, September 27, 2019.
