CenturyLink (Local 6372) Bargaining Report #2

 

The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink) met Tuesday, January 20, 2015, with the Union going over the Company Proposals (CP) that were presented on Monday, January 19, 2015.   The Union TA’d CP 15, Public Transportation.  No other agreements were reached. The Union and Company met again on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, with the Company going over the Union’s Proposals.  The Company rejected the following Union Proposals: UP4, Article III, Conceal and Carry UP6, Article III, Telephone Concession UP7, Article VIII, Pallbearer UP8, Article IX, Short Term Disability UP12, Article XII, Overtime UP13, Article XII, Sunday Callout UP14, Article XII, Standby UP17, Article XIV, Vacations UP18, Article XVIII, Drivers License UP20, Successorship UP21, Training UP22, Card Check UP23, Evolving Technologies UP24, Medical/Retiree Benefits UP26, Pension Portability The Union committee met the rest of Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, January 22, 2015, to review the Company Proposals. The Union and Company met on Friday, January 23, 2015, the Union rejected the following Company Proposals: CP2, Union Dues CP3, Union Dues CP7, Layoff CP13, Overtime CP17, Grievance/Arbitration No agreements reached. We are scheduled to meet with the Company on Monday, January 26, 2015. Your Bargaining Committee
