BARGAINING REPORT #5 CENTURYLINK OF MISSOURI Local 6300, 6311, 6312 & 6373

The Union and Company met Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The Union and Company continued to discuss the various proposals. We discussed CP10, Pension Freeze. The Company provided a sample pension calculation based on the 1.35% formula. The Company is still working on the pension freeze RFI. We discussed CP7, Contracting by Exchange. The Union and Company TA’d CC to UP12, Miscellaneous, 35.3.

The Union and Company met on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. The Union presented UC to CP11, Article 19, Wages, Differentials, and UC to CC to UP15, Article 19, Wages, and Compensated Availability. The Company presented revCP3a, Article 6, Vacations. We continued to discuss CP21, VEBA. The Company is still working on the VEBA RFI. We presented UC to CP20b, Exhibit C, Job Titles. We TA’d the following proposals; CC to UP7, Article 21, Management Responsibility, CC to UP8, Article 26, Overtime and Sunday Time, and CC to UC to CP19a, Home Garaging.

We met after hours on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. The Company Rejected the following proposals; UC to CC to UP15, Compensated Availability, UP11, Article 27, Work Schedules, UP17, Evolving Technologies, and UP20, Article 6, Vacations, 6.5. The Company presented CC to UP5, Article 16, Sickness and Disability, 16.5, and CC to UC to CP11a, Article 19, Wages, Differentials. The Union and Company TA’d UC to CP20b, Exhibit C.

We are scheduled to meet with the Company today, March 12, 2020. Please continue to wear your RED wrist band and CWA Button!!! The Company takes notice when you unite and take action collectively!!!

The contract expires on March 14, 2020.
