Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #4

On July 16th 2012, the Local 6171 bargaining committee met with Verizon Southwest bargaining committee to begin week 2 of negotiations getting towards getting a new contract.

The Company handed the Union some information that was requested last week. The Union handed four proposals across the table to the company.

We remain optimistic that a fair and just contract can be reached by contract expiration (Aug. 11th 2012) Remember to work to the rule. Do it safely and do it right the first time. Stay informed by checking the website or Facebook page. GET INVOLVED!!! WEAR RED on Thursdays and BLACK on Fridays.
