AT&T Mobility Bargaining Report #18
Yesterday, Wednesday, February 24th, the CWA Bargaining Committee continued negotiations with the Company during several bargaining sessions. The Union continued to present bargaining demands to the Company Committee. We presented a revised bargaining demand for a substantial wage increase, improvements to Article 21 – Absences, Article 22 – Vacations, Article 26 – Waiver of Further Bargaining and the Retail Commission Plan. The Union Committee rejected the Company’s retrogressive proposal on the current Pension Plan.
The Company presented a counter proposal on Article 17 - Company-Union Relationship and Article 25 – Exchange Time. The Union Committee continued to work late into the evening analyzing data and preparing bargaining demands to present to the Company on Thursday morning.
The Union reemphasized their commitment to reach a fair agreement by expiration and told the Company it’s time to get serious in negotiating a new contract.
Negotiations will resume on Thursday, February 25, 2016. The Labor Agreement expires on Friday, February 26, 2016 at midnight.
