The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink/Lumen) kicked off bargaining on Monday, January 18, 2021, and continued throughout the week. The Union presented 21 proposals and the Company presented 21 proposals.

The Union and Dish met on March 2nd and again today to continue bargaining to get you a first contract. The company responded after 7 pm last night to an information request that was submitted to them at the beginning of February. The Bargaining Committee spent much of the day today reviewing the provided information.

On Monday, February 22, 2021, workers across the nation will gather to call for the implementation of the Raise the Wage Act, a crucial bill that will raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2024 and eliminate the federal subminimum wage for tipped workers, which is currently around $2.13 per hour.
The Union and met virtually on Friday, February 5, 2021, in Austin, Texas. The Union and Company bargaining committees continued their discussions on multiple issues. We both made great progress and were able to meet on our proposals at a fair and equitable position.
