Frontier Bargaining Report #61

06 Oct, 2022

10/06/2022

Brothers and Sisters,

Your bargaining committee met with the company this morning.  The Union and the company tentatively agreed to two items: the Call Center Sub-Committee MOA and the Cross-Functional Work Sharing MOA.  The committees also discussed some technicians being told if there was no TA on the contract on October 14th at 5 pm, they should turn in their badges and keys at quitting time.  The company stated they were unaware of any directive to do so and committed to investigating. This is INTIMIDATIONDISCRIMINATIONCOERCION and HARASSMENT which is a violation of the COBC!! The company is causing division between the bargaining committee and the membership. We are also contemplating ANOTHER Unfair Labor Practice Charge.

The extension expires on Friday, October 14th at 11:59 pm.  We will continue to negotiate to reach an agreement.  Our commitment to reaching a fair agreement that recognizes the hard work and dedication of the members (you) has not changed.

Stay strong and continue to monitor the Local’s Facebook page and website for any information and mobilization activities.

In Solidarity,

Your Bargaining Committee
