Windstream Bargaining Report #9

The Union and Company met twice today, February 16, 2017.  Your Union Committee had lengthy conversations with the Company on several of their proposals regarding Pension, Healthcare, and Sick Days.  The Company has made little to no movement.  It appears they are merely going through the motions of bargaining and not wanting to get a contract. 

With expiration only 11 days away, we will be asking all Unit Directors to post and hold unit meetings to take a STRIKE VOTE.  We will not stop working or fighting to get a fair contract for the members of this local.
